About

Hello! My name is Jaiel Pulskamp. Pronounced Jaiel (J-ī-ell) Pulskamp (Pulse-camp)

I am running for Vermont State Representative in the Lamoille - Washington district

I am a mother, farmer, and conservationist with a background in advocacy and community organizing.

I believe in our common humanity and that when we all work together, we can find solutions to today's pressing issues. Our strength lies in our unity and willingness to collaborate across diverse perspectives and backgrounds. By fostering a culture of inclusivity and mutual respect, we can harness our community's collective wisdom and creativity to address challenges such as climate change, economic inequality, and access to quality education and healthcare. When we come together, we can develop innovative strategies to build an economy that works for everyone, create fair and equitable job opportunities, support small businesses and local enterprises, and address disparities disproportionately affecting marginalized communities.

For the past 16 years, I have been running an organic vegetable farm. I have experienced the ups and downs of operating an agricultural enterprise in an ever-changing climate.

As a mother, I believe our children deserve vibrant communities, one where their environment is free of toxins, their schools are well-funded for innovation, and the cost of living is affordable.

As your representative, I am committed to being your voice.  I will be a strong advocate for my constituents. I will bring my agricultural, community organizing, and environmental stewardship experience to the State House. I am ready to work tirelessly to improve our district and our state, and I am inviting the community to join me in building this vision for Vermont that prioritizes sustainable practices, inclusivity and equality, and a flourishing Vermont.
